Kingsport is the largest of the towns we serve outside Johnson City itself -- a planned "garden city" re-chartered in 1917 and still nicknamed "The Model City" for it, and home to Eastman Chemical Company's headquarters.

Kingsport was first chartered back in 1822, lost that charter after the Civil War, and was re-chartered in 1917 as a deliberately planned "garden city" -- one of the notable planned industrial towns of its era, laid out by landscape architect John Nolen. That planning heritage is why Kingsport still carries the nickname "The Model City" today. It's also the corporate headquarters of Eastman Chemical Company, giving the town a real industrial and manufacturing employment base alongside its residential neighborhoods. As of the 2020 Census, Kingsport counted 55,442 residents -- a snapshot figure, not a live count -- making it the largest municipality on this list. It sits roughly 22 to 26 miles north/northwest of our yard via I-26.
Kingsport's size and industrial base bring a genuinely broad mix of work: Commercial Dumpster Rental and Construction Dumpster Rental for contractors and businesses operating around the Eastman campus and the city's commercial corridors, Residential Dumpster Rental across the planned neighborhoods laid out in the 1917 design, and Same-Day Dumpster Rental for jobsite swap-outs that can't wait on a standard delivery window.

roughly 22–26 miles north/northwest of our yard on S Greenwood Dr via I-26.

Why Us
Same reasons homeowners and contractors across Johnson City and Washington County call us for every job.
You reach a real Johnson City team, not a national dispatch queue. The person who answers knows which Washington County streets a loaded roll-off can actually turn onto and which local rules apply that day.
Delivery, the rental period, pickup and disposal rolled into one flat-rate price based on the size you book, the debris type and how long you keep it. If something would push you over, we tell you before the truck ever leaves the yard.
Call early and most Johnson City and Washington County orders go out the same or next day. Live jobsite swap-outs get priority over everything else on the schedule.
Founder & CEO Jason Keller and the JK Dumpster Rental team coordinate every delivery out of our 2303 S Greenwood Dr yard — not a national dispatch desk. We know which Washington County roads a loaded roll-off can actually reach.
Weight fills a container long before volume does. We will talk you into the smaller can if that is the honest answer for your job.
Metals, masonry, unpainted wood, drywall, carpet and clean concrete all get routed for recovery instead of buried wherever's easiest — we will tell you what has to come out of the box before it ever reaches the scale.
Talk to a real person
Call (423) 740-6063 and we will size it, price it flat-rate and give you a delivery time on the same call. Kingsport is roughly 22–26 miles north/northwest of our yard on S Greenwood Dr via I-26, so same-day is usually on the table.

Answers
Same-day is usually still on the table with an early call -- Kingsport is a bit further out from our yard than our closest stops, so we'll confirm a firm delivery window when you call rather than guess.
On your own driveway or private lot, generally no. A container placed in a public street or right-of-way typically needs sign-off from the city's building or public works office -- tell us where you need the box and we'll flag it if that applies.
Yes -- contractors working near Kingsport's commercial and industrial corridors are regular customers of ours. Tell us the schedule and how often you'll fill a container and we'll plan swap-outs so a full box never holds up the job.
